Ghent, Belgium – 1–2 October 2025 — The 10th edition of Immunity for Health, the flagship event of Flanders Vaccine, marked both a celebration and a new beginning. As the organization reached its 10th anniversary, it unveiled a new name and visual identity: Flanders Vaccine becomes Immunity for Health.
After a decade of connecting experts, driving collaboration, and promoting vaccine and immunotherapy innovation, the organization is ready to take its mission further. The new identity reflects its ambition to strengthen international impact while building on Flanders’ and Belgium’s strong vaccine ecosystem.
This year’s conference, themed “One Health – One Future”, emphasized the growing interconnection between human, animal, and environmental health. Speakers addressed urgent global challenges – from the spread of mosquito-borne diseases in Europe driven by climate change to the need for better preparedness for future pandemics.
Discussions also focused on equitable access to vaccines and the importance of global partnerships. While progress continues, sustainable local vaccine production in low- and middle-income countries remains a critical challenge.
“With Immunity for Health, we reaffirm our commitment to catalyzing collaboration and advancing innovation for the benefit of global health,” said Fran Van Heuverswyn, Project Manager at Immunity for Health. “Our goal is to share the expertise built in Flanders with the world and help strengthen global health resilience.”
