Symposium on Innovations in Antibody-Based Biologics
11 June 2026, 13u-17u30
Immunity for Health is pleased to announce its upcoming symposium “Innovations in Antibody-Based Biologics", which will take place on June 11 at the Landmark Building of UZ Brussels.
This high-level event will bring together leading researchers, biotech innovators and industry experts to explore the latest advances in antibody development for diagnostics and immunological therapies.
What to Expect
The symposium will open with a “Setting the Scene” keynote presentation 'Antibody Horizons: Innovation, Translation and Clinical Impact' by Hilde Revets, Managing Director of PHiRA Consulting BV and Valorisation Manager for the VUB IOF consortium INTEGRAL.
Following the opening, the programme will continue with two dynamic sessions featuring a series of short expert talks:
Session 1: Translational Antibody Innovation – From Discovery to Applications
This session brings together four distinguished speakers who will present their latest research, with a focus on clinical development outcomes and the journey from early discovery to real-world application.
Confirmed Speakers: Dr Hilde Revets – PHiRA Consulting & VUB IOF consortium INTEGRAL / Prof Dr Tony Lahoutte – UZ Brussels / Dr Karine Clauwaert – Abscint / Dr Elise Wouters – Rode Kruis Vlaanderen / Prof Dr Maarten Dewilde – KU Leuven
Session 2: Advancing Antibody Therapeutics – Industry Perspectives
In this session, leading companies will share cutting-edge technologies and innovative results in the field of antibody therapeutics, highlighting applications in both human and veterinary medicine.
Confirmed Speakers: Dr Heleen Dewitte – argenx / Dr Melissa Dullaers – Sanofi / Dr Markus Waldhuber – Zoetis
Topics that will be addressed:
