ISIDORe II is pleased to launch its first Transnational Access (TNA) call for proposals, dedicated to Andes virus (ANDV) and ANDV-relevant hantavirus research.
CEPI has announced a funding opportunity to develop innovative analytical technologies for vaccines. The goal is to reduce vaccine development, manufacturing, and release times (e.g., within 100 days of an outbreak being identified), lower costs, improve equitable deployment in Low to Middle-Income Countries (LMICs), and enhance analytical insights for vaccines such as RNA, viral vectors, or protein-based vaccines.
The recent Andes virus cluster has highlighted the importance of advancing research to strengthen preparedness and response capacities against emerging and re-emerging infectious disease threats.
Research priority areas
The call focuses on three research priority areas:
- Therapeutic and non-vaccine prophylactic candidate evaluation
- Diagnostic tools, assays, reagents and reference materials
- ANDV-relevant models, experimental systems and readouts
Researchers from universities, public research organisations, public-health research bodies, industry, SMEs and other research-performing organisations are invited to apply.
